Before applying, test a hidden area of carpet or fabric for colorfastness. Allow test area to dry. If color bleeds or discolors, carpet or fabric is not colorfast.
Directions for Use: Spray directly on stain. Immediately blot with a clean absorbent, colorfast cloth or paper towel. Repeat as necessary. Vacuum to restore carpet pile after carpet is dry. For laundry, wait 3-5 minutes; then launder. For stubborn stains increase contact time.
WHERE TO USE
Removes stains and odors on water-safe carpet. (Refer to manufacturer's warranty for use on stain-resistant carpet.) Cleans and removes stains on water-safe upholstery. Use as a laundry pretreatment on all colorfast washable water-safe fabrics.
HOW TO APPLY Spot Removal Tips: Vacuum loose debris or blot up any wet soil with a clean colorfast cloth, sponge or paper towel. Carpet Stain Removal: Using a dull knife or spoon, gently remove hard soils to a paper towel. Remove significant amounts of liquid using a clean, colorfast towel or a wet/dry vacuum. Spray directly on stain and immediately blot with a clean absorbent colorfast cloth or paper towel. Repeat as necessary. Increase contact time for stubborn stains. Follow large jobs with water extraction. Vacuum to restore carpet pile after carpet is dry. Upholstery Cleaning: Vacuum thoroughly, then clean one section at a time using a spray-blot-rinse-blot method until the entire section is finished. Do not over-saturate upholstery. Laundry Stain Pretreatment: Spray directly on stain. Rub lightly to help loosen dirt. Let stand 1-30 minutes depending on severity of stain, then launder with regular detergent. Check stain before drying—if necessary, repeat procedure and increase contact time. Professional Hints: Treat stains as soon as possible. In the event the treated area appears lighter, clean the entire section to avoid rings. Certain stains like urine, vomit, feces, bleach or rust can cause permanent discoloration and may be impossible to remove. Do not use on silk, suede, velour, velvet, oriental rugs, wool carpet or any dry-clean-only fabrics.
